NEC VersaPro VS-7 Changing the Way We Look At Netbooks

This is not one of the most popular choice, which notebook computers, because they are heavy and dull, like an old war to start; but the release of NEC VersaPro Team - 7 Internet version is the Internet changed the way we look at this. This slim body, this is only 15.8 millimeters thick and good for small and medium keys are slightly curved to hug your fingers, I have to say, the traditional mouse is more inclined to me, rather than the touchpad.

As for the sexy and stylish as it is notebook computers, it is not all right outside, no, VersaPro Team - 7 Internet access to this to have a beautiful house it! Take a look at these specifications:

• 10.6 "1280x768 display (glossy)
• Intel Atom Z540 (1.86GHz's)
• Intel GMA500 graphics
• 64GB solid state drive
• 15.8 mm thick
• 725 grams (4-cell battery)
• 150 kilograms body able to withstand the pressure of

I would also like to point out that, despite the NEC VersaPro Team - 7 Internet version is integrated Intel GMA500 video chipset, with a good reputation does not keep up with the pace when it comes to watching high-quality video, even high-definition video files, but installing VersaPro Team -7 Project of the CCCP codec, and in any document, and to play them perfectly even with Vista, 720/30p DiVX or high-definition full-screen playback.

Users are divided into photography and graphics will be impressed and I know that the child can handle the bridge and the performance of Photoshop CS3, as well as have a VAIO G2, and half of the cost is just over 1,000.

Unfortunately, the current VersaPro teams - 7 is currently only available in Japan, but it is certainly something to look forward to.

Dell Unleashes Vostro Laptops

It was no surprise when Dell put out it's latest entry in it's Vostro line of notebooks. Vostro notebooks are low-cost notebooks that won't empty your wallet while simultaneously not feeling like a typical notebook. There are three new models added by dell which consists of the 14.1 inch 1014 and 1088 and the 15.6 inch 1015. The laptops themselves are pretty similar across the board. All feature Intel Core 2 Processors, 802.11n, 4GB of RAM, optical drives, 2 mega-pixel webcam, and 320GB of storage space.

The notebooks also have an improved battery life due to WLED LCD displays and each laptop also has a 5-in-1 card reader. Along with all of these features there is also draft-n Wi-Fi. But these three laptops are not all exactly the same. The 1088 carries a heavier graphics card than the 1014 and the 1015. The 1088 comes with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 graphics which is upped from the integrated Intel graphics of the 1014 and 1015.

Dell has yet to slap an official pric tag on these laptops as of right now. The price will differ depending on what all you want or don't want in your laptop. This installment in the Vostro line is already available in Europe with devices becoming available in Asia over the next week. Dell has said that you can grab your Vostro in the US sometime in the next couple of months.

Touch Screen Monitors

Touch screen monitor

Touch-screen display may replace the display is in use today. Regular monitoring will only show images of the computer, but they can be like an output device, but also as an input device. These displays can replace our LCD / CRT monitor, keyboard or mouse or even too much. Using a touch-screen graphical user interface, very sensitive to touch, they touch each and every recognized that, through a number of ways such as: resistors, capacitors, infrared and acoustic.

Resistance touch screen is probably the most long-lasting, because they can still work, even if the screen scratches will reduce its efficiency. Some of the screen using ultrasound transmission and display panel, the touch of the wave is absorbed and measured to determine the location of touch. The use of capacitive touch screen is the immersion of the charge when people touch panel.

Touch-screen computers can be the future. Replaced the normal display, mouse and keyboard, is very close between them so that they become a real computer, no wires, or too much space. You can learn more about these different technologies screen and ISO 14443 standards, such as in Elactec, the company also involves encoding card. DONOTCHANGE

Samsung Q310-34P

Sporting a handsome design, smooth performance, and good endurance, this 13-inch notebook is a strong contender

The Samsung Q310-34P is a good thin-and-light notebook for work and play that doesn't skimp on battery life. It also offers good looks without being over the top. But while system offers solid performance, is it worth $ 1,299?

Design
The glossy black lid of the Samsung Q310-34P doesn't look radically different from other thin-and-light notebooks. Once you open the system, however, your eyes will be drawn to the subtle but sophisticated Touch of Color design on the deck borrowed from Samsung's TVs: the polished black design has red gradation highlights as you move from the bottom of the keyboard to the front of the notebook.

The Q310-34P measures 12.7 x 9.5 x 1.1 inches and weighs 4.8 pounds, making it the same weight as the HP Pavilion dv3510nr we recently reviewed, although it's noticeably thinner. On the right side of the system you'll find a USB port, an 8X optical drive, ExpressCard/34 slot, headphone and microphone jacks, and a blocked modem port; on the left are VGA and HDMI ports..

Billy Joel certified GPS equipped Asus U3 laptop released in market

Is a book on the table? Ah, this is a notebook computer. What is the picture above, but none of the Asus U3 laptop released in the market. Asustek Computer, notebook computer manufacturing company has been developing some very innovative products recently. Market is the latest ultra-portable laptop 13inch of U3.

U3 is good with the Santa Rosa platform chipset. This may be a notebook computer models, the use of smaller low-voltage Intel dual-core processor. The best part, this baby is that it's portable technology with the host country. It has a HDMI interface, the Global Positioning System, S - video, and external SATA. This is the first time I heard the laptop is equipped with a Global Positioning System. I think this is a great deal.

Antenna port of the notebook computer is built on the right side of the notebook computer. The laptop will have a FireWire port, as well as the 54 slot ExpressCard.

The completion of its design approved by the higher level leather black piano Billy Joel. Now the interesting part. I do not know Billy Joel in line with the equation. Mobile, the external also provides a set of USB ports, just like any other laptop.

The price of laptops is about 2000 U.S. dollars. However, this depends on the dealer. This price, the company provides a great laptop, LED screen backlight all. And image of the narrow-minded to make this ultra-thin notebook computers and their ultra-thin ultra-portable claims. Even if the price information has been released, we do not have access to date has not yet been issued.

Toshiba recalls another 10,000 Sony laptop batteries

Sony laptop batteries again become a problem. Last year, Toshiba recalled 830,000 notebook computer batteries, and now they have to recall another 10,000 Sony laptop batteries. Three machines is said to vanish from September 2006 to June 2007. No injuries have been reported, but this time once again raised concern about the recall Sony laptop batteries.

Recovery to meet the two new models, the Satellite A100/A105 and Tecra highway A7. The details of number and instructions to exchange the battery had been put up on Toshiba's Web site.

Sony's problems:

Last year, nearly 100,000 Sony-made batteries have been recalled harmful, and reportedly cost Sony about 418 million U.S. dollars. The recall is the new Toshiba is small, the situation may become worse. In addition, customers will think 10 times chose the Sony-made notebook computer batteries integration. MSI Wind -- better than the new Asus Eee PC900?

CNET UK has been accepted for a brief look at the new MSI Wind notebook, they think it is good - "good, in fact, it may take the throne by ASUSTek Computer commands the best mini-notebook on the planet . "the site said:

Wind will be the first to begin selling the 10-inch, 1024 × 600 pixel screen. This point, it should be said, is very, very good, because it does not use such a terrible reflection coating, we can see that the HP 2133 Mini-Note. MSI also plans to introduce a version of the wind, the use of 8.9-inch screen. They will use the same chassis, so the smaller version is expected to have a large, ugly panels on the screen.
.
Wind ship in Windows XP and SUSE Linux in camouflage, with the XP version costs £ 329. Pricing has not yet been confirmed in the Linux model, but it will be much cheaper, obviously.

Slightly larger than the wind screen of 8.9 inches of electrical and electronic equipment ASUS PC900, I reviewed in today's Technofile ... but also ASUS 10.1-inch screen version of the road. (They all seem to have the same resolution.) Battery life style may also be superior to ASUS, and then there is a keyboard. CNET accept that:

Keyboard does not seem as good as a full HP 2133 Mini Note, but it is miles away from the more than 1 electrical and electronic equipment of the PC 900. MSI said that it is almost the same keyboard used on a larger notebook computers - which is no bad thing.

The keyboard is my main problem with the ASUS mini notebook computers, but, of course, if you do not write, can not touch and then it might not be a problem.

Intel kicks off Computex with a plug for Atom

Sean Maloney, Intel's Computex show started in Taipei, Taiwan, announced "a new version of the Intel Atom processor, a new class of compact, easy-to-use devices called netbooks and nettops, so that the new Internet user said," Intel.

Maloney showed approximately 100 Intel processor and the motherboard chipset, netbooks and nettops that computer manufacturers have demonstrated this week at the Computex. Netbooks are small mobile devices, children, the first time Internet users and people who desire an extra PC can use basic computing applications, listening to music, send and receive e-mail and surfing the Internet. They can also be used for playing basic online games, social networks and IP voice calls.

Acer, one of the Enlightenment, is a typical example of atomic-based notebook and ASUS version of the product atoms. Dell is also expected to enter the market (below). I hope someone will do a compilation of easy Computex list.

Intel also - always - big in WiMAX. In eye-catching slogan is: Intel inside; WiMAX external .. As I have previously mentioned, Intel is the combination of Wi - Fi and WiMax in its Echo Peak technology.

Dell launches small consumer-oriented Studio Hybrid desktops in many colours

Blu-ray up to 250 U.S. dollars the cost of additional. Although Dell provide television / video recorder hard drive option, it in fact U disk, rather than built.

UK prices £ 529, including VAT and freight. For some reason, the British company has decided to upgrade the processor, hard drive (250GB) and memory (up to 3GB) and operating system (Vista Premium operating system) monitoring, free version, it's price inflation, but it is still hope £一三十for another color. To make matters worse, the option to customize will not let you reduce the specifications, or select "no keyboard." Rip off Britain strikes it? I am looking forward to 399 pounds and there will be a preliminary version of anxious calm ....

Correction! UK price £ 399 to start, the report commented as follows CSClark. And his associates, or else, I may still not be able to find it ....

Space Cube, the tiny PC that looks great next to an apple

ProBlog of PC Pro has become a small computer, it is really small: about 2 inches square. It's the 300MHz processor running Linux and has a wealth of ports. The story said:

The most charming, but is a line of port space. It sounds like science fiction is just fantasy, but this incredibly thin socket is a crucial part of the armory space Cube. This is because it is a proprietary interface used by ESA, NASA and the Japan Aerospace Exploration, the cube actually enter the space. This is useful for connecting various sensors and processing units of the Space Cube, as well as the complexity of the high-sounding Downlink Telementary sub-systems, this sounds like something more like Battlestar Galactica or Star Wars than any in real life use. Facts have proved that the space is also used as a common wire interface module and linked to the design of electronic products are often in different institutions.

Alas! you can not buy one - no. Space Cube has been developed Shimafuji companies in Japan, but if you want a PC Pro said:

The best choice for you is to keep watching Star Dundee website. It is a branch of the Space Systems Research Group University of Dundee. Cube space they intend to sell a few technical issues resolved.

Estimated price is "around £ 1,500."

Samsung X360 billed as "lighter than air" or MacBook Air

Samsung has demonstrated its forthcoming X360 laptop at the IFA exhibition in Berlin. 1.27 kilograms, it's lighter than the MacBook Air at 1.36 kilograms. (With light machines, such as the Toshiba Portege, but 12.1inch not 13.3inch screen.)

Samsung said: "X360 sets a new standard of mobile computing - offering a comprehensive set of features, unparalleled similar market."

Well, it features more than air, and serious damage to the port, including the 7-in-1 card reader, three USB ports, PCI Express card slot (34 millimeters), HDMI interface, graphics, the use of RJ45 (Ethernet ) and a docking slot. You can also not a solid-state hard drive (64GB or 128GB) or a traditional 120GB hard drive. Other features include a fingerprint reader, camera, Bluetooth and Wi - Fi.

The difference is that sometimes over-heated air, X360 also has a proper Ultra Low Voltage (ULV) processor - probably not cheap - and X4500 graphics. With the SSD and 6-cell battery, which makes Samsung battery life requirements, "as long as 10 hours", depending on use. But I will leave a deep impression, if I am more than 5 or 6 hours .....

From what I can see all kinds of video and photos of the IFA, the battery behind the project, like most 6 cell pack. This gives Samsung no hope of getting closer and closer, "the thinnest" machine. In the X360's thickness is 1.67 - 3.09 centimeters, including the MacBook Air compared 0.4-1.94 cm. It makes no difference rather than reality. (Oh, not from the point of view of portability. Thinner just worse - less use - if it means abandoning the ports, expansion slots and a removable battery.)

From photos and video, but it also looks forward to a very smooth, it may not be reduced too much, and comfort, the ThinkPad Matt crowd.

X360 is expected to reach in Europe next month. Samsung did not specify the price. I think this is not possible to cost less than £ 1,200 of hard disk drives, but it can be in the same stadium of the air.

Dell said that the 8.04 version of Ubuntu will have a "custom Dell interface (coming soon)."

Origami pics leaked!

The Origami Portal (yes, there is one) reckons it has pics of one of the forthcoming mini-Tablet PCs that might be shown at CeBIT. It says: "If this is the actual final product, it's pretty slick.

This looks like Windows Vista rather than XP, which might imply a launch closer to Christmas. It should also be Embedded Vista, rather than the standard version. (The Xbox uses Embedded NT.) So, although previous experience suggests almost all leaked product pics are PhotoShopped fakes, if this is one, it was done by someone pretty sharp....

Dell's financial results beat low expectations

Dell's latest quarterly financial results exceeded Wall Street expectations, leading to a brief surge in stock prices (short of embedding), but very low expectations. The first quarter of Dell's total revenue increased 9 percent to 16 billion U.S. dollars, while profit was up only 4% to 784 million U.S. dollars. The company said:

Product shipments rose 22 percent, an increase of 3 times the server, the industrial rate of 21%. Storage revenues increased by 15% and enhanced services revenue increased by 13%. Growth in notebook shipments, Dell's strategic priorities, increased 43 percent and 1.2 times the rate of industrial growth. Consumer units grew more than 2 times the industry rate and the company's global share increased 1.2 points to 8.8% in the second quarter.

Most of the transfer from off 7,000 employees in the past year, though Dell also added that: "approximately 2,700 employees through acquisitions." It also benefited from a weaker U.S. dollar.

Dell said it in India and China, "revenue increased by 52% and 30%, unit shipments grew 68% and 43%."

Access to retail outlets (13,000 now) helped notebook sales. Dell said:

"Notebook units grew 43% over the previous year revenue growth of 22%. The second quarter, Dell released its first fully reinforced notebook Latitude XFR D630. In the global consumer, notebook units increased 78% and 60% of the product mix. "

An assumption that revenue growth is far lower than the growth in shipments of notebook computers, not only because of falling prices, but retail sales are likely due to low profits. (There is a margin transaction.)

Nevertheless, the company seems to have bottomed out following the leadership of Michael Dell's return on January 31, 2007.

Dell will resume its phenomenal growth of the former road is another matter. The world has changed since then.
